Our Bold Future
Christopher Dragon Named New Music Director
The Pops are pleased to announce that we have come to an agreement with Christopher Dragon to become our new Music Director. Chris is an exciting, energetic, and charismatic conductor who captures audiences wherever he goes.
Philly, We are Back
The Reborn Philly Pops
The so-called No Name Pops orchestra in Philadelphia has a new name that will sound familiar to many: Philly Pops. The start-up orchestra has been trying to stand in the shoes of its predecessor since it formed last year, and now legally has its name.
Creating Meaningful Partnerships
The Philly Pops Forge Success with Community Partnerships
The Philly Pops celebrate its deep connection to the City of Philadelphia and its vibrant cultural scene.
We know no musical bounds and no limits.
The Philly Pops plays orchestral music that puts our own signature spin on all types of music that people already know and love. We defy audiences’ expectations as we create music that doesn’t just move them — it brings them to their feet and into the aisles (or the street).
