Philly POPS Welcomes New Board Members to Encore Series, Inc. Board of Directors

GARY A. FRANK HAS BEEN ELECTED CHAIRMAN

Philadelphia, PA (August 8, 2017)—The Philly POPS announced today that Gary A. Frank (Chairman), Joseph (Joe) Del Raso (Vice Chairman), Bruce Anthony (Tony) Mahon II (Secretary), and James (Jim) M. Matour (Treasurer) have been elected directors of the Encore Series, Inc. Board, presenter of the Philly POPS. Sal DeBunda was elected Chairman Emeritus. The new officers assumed their roles on July 1, 2017.

“Gary, Joe, Tony, and Jim have been devoted Philly POPS Board members and great supporters of the POPS for years,” said Frank Giordano, President and CEO of the Philly POPS. “I’m grateful to have them steering our organization and look forward to continued success under their leadership.”

Gary Frank, of Bala Cynwyd, is Founder, Chairman, and CEO of LCG, Ltd., the nation’s largest privately held employee legal plan provider. His personal commitment to philanthropy includes leadership roles in the non-profit sector, where he serves a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of Nominations and Governance for the Board of Directors of The Philadelphia Orchestra, and Co-Chairman of Communications for the Board of Trustees for the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI). Frank also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Liberty Museum, the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, and on the Executive Committee for Fox’s Fight to Beat Melanoma in affiliation with Abramson Cancer Center. He was previously Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Encore Series, Inc. Board of Directors.

Joe Del Raso, of Devon, is a partner in the Commercial Department of Pepper Hamilton LLP. Tony Mahon, of Moorestown, is President of AJM Insurance Company. Jim Matour, of Philadelphia, is a partner and co-chair of the Bankruptcy & Insolvency Group of Dilworth Paxson LLP.

The Board also elected Tony Ricci, CEO of Greenwood Racing Inc., owner of Parx casino, and Joan Carter, co-founder and president of UM Holdings, Ltd., as Directors.
