Bonnie Callahan is the Development and Marketing Coordinator for the Philly Pops, playing a vital role in supporting the growth and success of the Philly Pops’ fundraising, development, and marketing efforts. A musician, writer, administrator, and creative strategist passionate about using her skills to make impactful change, she is proud to help the Pops serve its musicians and community.

In addition to her work with the Philly Pops, she is the Development Director for the East Brunswick Symphony Orchestra, a Grant and Copy Writer for INFLUENTIAL WRITINGS, and a consultant to numerous nonprofit organizations across the U.S. Committed to giving back and serving her profession, Bonnie serves on the Marketing and Outreach and Fundraising committees of the Princeton Brass Band and is the editor of the Product and App Reviews column of the International Trumpet Guild Journal.

Bonnie is also a professional trumpet player, bringing the insight of a performer and artist to her administrative work and her eye for detail and nuance to her performing projects. She regularly performs with the East Brunswick Symphony Orchestra, Princeton Brass Band, Central Brass Quintet, Coda Brass Quintet, of which she is a founding member, and with other ensembles in a variety of genres and settings throughout the Northeastern United States.

Bonnie holds a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from West Chester University and bachelor’s degrees in Music Education and Trumpet Performance with a minor in International Studies from Rowan University. She is also a proud member of the International Women’s Brass Conference, International Trumpet Guild, Maestra Music, and Local 16-248 AFM.
