PHILLY POPS FESTIVAL BRASS QUINTET TO PLAY AT HISTORIC PHILADELPHIA LAUNCH EVENT

What:                   The Philly POPS Festival Brass will play at the Historic Philadelphia launch event. Philadelphia’s new campaign redefines and renames the city’s prized historic district. The event kicks off Philadelphia’s busy summer tourism season that begins Memorial Day Weekend.

Three days after this event, the Philly POPS and the Mann Center for the Performing Arts host Philadelphia’s first-ever Memorial Day concert: Memorial Salute on May 28 at 7pm.

The Philly POPS has a special relationship with the city’s historic district, having entertained tens of thousands at its annual free July 3 concert at Independence Hall for many years.
