Philadelphia, PA (March 6, 2017)—The Philly POPS is proud to announce that Marc Lucca and Philip Rinaldi have been elected directors of the Encore Series, Inc. Board, presenter of the Philly POPS.
“Phil and Marc have been devoted supporters of the Philly POPS for years,” said Frank Giordano, President and CEO of the Philly POPS. “These two leaders in our region bring a wealth of business acumen and experience to our growing organization. I’m thrilled that Phil and Marc will be part of the Board of Directors.”
The POPS is currently enjoying a particularly successful season having recently presented sold-out concerts for Sgt. Pepper Celebration and Blockbuster Broadway.
Marc Lucca, of Merion Station, Pennsylvania, is President of Aqua Pennsylvania and has over 25 years of experience in water and wastewater operations. Lucca has been with Aqua Pennsylvania since 2007. Previously he held the role of Vice President of Network for Aqua Pennsylvania and held management positions for the Coast Water District in Marina, California, the Santa Clara Water Valley District in San Jose, California, and American Water’s California subsidiary.
Lucca earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering Technology from Temple University. He holds a Master of Engineering degree from The Pennsylvania State University and completed an MBA at Drexel University in 2015. Lucca is an active member of the American Water Works Association, and serves on the board of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce.
Philip Rinaldi, of Bridgewater, New Jersey, is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Philadelphia Energy Solutions LLC. His career has focused on energy, chemical and natural resource industries. Rinaldi has been an investor and/or the principal executive in a wide range of industries, including oil refining, oil exploration, phosphate mining and chemical production. Rinaldi’s industrial background includes prominent companies such as Exxon, Phibro, Tosco, Coffeyville Resources, Conserve, Seminole, and Mulberry Corporation. He is also an active member of New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he serves as Chairman of the Board of Overseers and as Director of the Alumni Association.
Rinaldi earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
