Support The Philly POPS
The musicians and staff of the Philly POPS appreciate the support that we’ve received. We ask that you consider a special donation as part of the Philly POPS efforts to celebrate it’s music, musicians, and legacy! Ticket sales cover only a portion of the costs associated with POPS’ performances and beloved community initiatives like the Salute Series and POPS in Schools. We rely on your support as we begin this season of celebration. Please consider a gift to our Annual Fund.

I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS: A SALUTE TO THE MILITARY AND FIRST RESPONDERS
On December 2, 2022, in an exclusive concert experience at Verizon Hall at The Kimmel Cultural Campus, The Comcast NBCUniversal Ninth Annual I’ll Be Home for Christmas — A Salute to the Military and First Responders ushered in the holiday season for members of the service community with a night of magical music and generosity of spirit. This very special event also marked the culmination of the Philly POPS 2022 Salute Series. The Philly POPS Salute Series recognizes the service and sacrifice of those dedicated to a collective identity of American values and tradition.
The Ninth Annual POPS Ball Old Hollywood: A Night on the Red Carpet
The Ninth Annual POPS Ball was a stunning event led by Music Director and Principal Conductor David Charles Abell with special guest West End sensation Scarlett Strallen. Friends of the POPS enjoyed an evening of dinner and dancing to the lush scores from their favorite classic films. It was an unforgettable evening of glitz and glamour, calling back to the magnificent cinematic era.
TICKET DONATIONS
Under ordinary circumstances, ticket sales do not support the full expense of our orchestra, our programs, and the extraordinary artists that we bring to each POPS concert. Programs like POPS In Schools are completely supported by donations. The Salute Series, celebrations of civic traditions free to the public, is also exclusively supported by fundraising.
There is a new normal for a POPS event. Always, our main concern is the health and safety of our patrons, our musicians, and our staff. While carefully outlined measures for safety are in development for any upcoming event, there will be those patrons who are more comfortable not attending. If you find yourself wondering, please consider a donation of your ticket to the POPS Support Fund. The donation itself is tax deductible.
The Philly POPS Concert Program Book — A Great Place to Conduct Business!
ADVERTISE WITH THE POPS
The Philly POPS reaches an audience of almost 100,000 people throughout the season, and that audience is growing rapidly. Our program book is unlike those of most other arts organizations; with its sleek magazine-like feel, it’s actually fun to read. People with discretionary budgets read these programs, take them home, and save them. With this in mind, we hope you’ll consider placing an advertisement in our digital program book entitled ENCORE! It’s a great place to conduct business.
