Christmas in July celebrates the on-sale date for tickets to The Philly POPS' beloved Christmas concert series and announcement of the fourth annual I'll Be Home for Christmas: A Salute to the Military and First Responders with a bike giveaway event for children of members of the military, Philadelphia police, and fire departments.
In coordination with Salute Series Presenting Sponsor Comcast NBCUniversal as well as Amazon, Toys R Us, Parx Casino, Eisner Amper, Bank of America, Macy's, KeyBank, Bochetto & Lentz, and a number of private donors, the POPS will give 300 bicycles to local children.
Expect a holiday atmosphere with Santa Claus, carolers, POPS musicians performing, and remarks by special dignitaries from the military and city of Philadelphia.
