The Salute Series

MISSION

The Philly POPS  Salute Series  encourages recognition of service and commitment through an expanding set of events and activities—each transformative moments of celebration for our community. Salute performances recognize the service and sacrifice of those dedicated to a collective identity of American values and tradition. 

Signature events include large-scale, free performances on Memorial Day, July 3 on Independence Mall, July 4 at Philadelphia's Independence Day concert, and opening night of the POPS Christmas concert series in December. 

The  Salute Series  engages with a series of partners ranging from the USO and the Philadelphia Police and Fire Departments to regional Veterans organizations, community centers and schools.
