The Philly POPS SALUTE Series encourages recognition of service and commitment through an expanding set of events and activities - each transformative moments of celebration for our community. The Salute performances recognize the service and sacrifice of those dedicated to a collective identity of American values and tradition.

The Philly POPS Memorial Salute Concert

For the first time ever, the POPS and the Mann Center for the Performing Arts will present Memorial Salute, a concert honoring the American tradition of service on Saturday, May 28 at 7pm during Memorial Day weekend.

POPS on Independence for Wawa Welcome America

The POPS Brass Percussion Ensemble returns to play Aaron Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man during the city's new Celebration of Freedom ceremony and parade.

Immediately prior to the city’s Grand Finale Fireworks show on Benjamin Franklin Parkway, the full 65-piece Philly POPS orchestra will take the stage to play pop hits, patriotic songs, Broadway favorites and more from the Great American Songbook!

Veterans Salute

Join us on Veterans Day when The Philly POPS Festival Brass quintet performs as part of a recognition service hosted by Major General Wesley Craig at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, featuring remarks by Brig. Gen. Carol Eggert (ret.), and simultaneously at Dilworth Park's ice skating rink opening ceremony.
